Another two celebrities have been announced for the new series of Dancing On Ice and we can't wait to see them take to the rink.
TV presenter and actress Donna Air is the latest celebrity sign-up for the new series of the ice-skating show. The former Byker Grove star revealed she would be taking part in the new series when she appeared on Friday's Loose Women.
On the show Donna said she was nervous about taking part but, "it's exciting though. It's going to a great series because they've got some really fun people lined up."
She went on to explain some of the moves she has come across during training,
Also confirmed earlier today as a contestant for Dancing On Ice is Good Morning Britain weather presenter Alex Beresford. Alex made the announcement on GMB on Friday morning as he broadcast from the ice rink at the Natural History Museum in London.
Speaking on the show he said, "I’ve had three lessons – I literally started training on Tuesday. I’m literally at the beginning of my journey."
Alex went on to say, "This has been the biggest secret I’ve ever kept. My son Cruz is seven and I told him I was doing it when I found out and I said, ‘Look you’ve got to keep this as a big secret, you can’t tell anyone’ and he’s not told a single person! I’m so proud of him – but now he can go and shout about it in school."
With Alex and Donna now confirmed there are just a few slots left to fill. So far there are many rumours of possible contestants including soap actress Stephanie Waring, sports star Ebony-Jewel Rainford-Brent and former royal butler Paul Burrell.
All this week Dancing On Ice have been releasing details of who will be taking part in the new show. So far they include amongst others, reality TV star Kem Cetinay, 80s pop star and TV presenter Cheryl Baker, former X Factor contestant Jake Quickenden.
