Netflix show Too Hot To Handle on the lookout for applicants 👀

For the first time in the show's history!

It's the show that made a name for the likes of Harry Jowsey, Francesca Farago and Chloe Veitch, and now that it's had an incredible five series, Netflix's Too Hot To Handle is seemingly switching things up a bit.

As fans of the reality show will know, in past series contestants haven't been given the chance to apply... Instead they think they are applying for a totally different show, before virtual assistant 'Lana' reveals the truth as they arrive on the luxury Island.

But now, in a huge shake-up for the next series, bosses are on the hunt for applicants, with applications now open!

How do I apply for Too Hot To Handle?

Netflix confirmed they were looking for applicants on Monday 14th August, sharing an ad which reads: 'For the first time every Lana is going public. Too Hot To Handle is casting. Wanna take part? Or know somebody who should? Apply or nominate someone today'.

The caption then stated: 'Are you addicted to casual hook-ups but fail at deeper connections? Could LANA and a tropical retreat transform you, or someone you know, for the better? Apply for Too Hot to Handle Season 6 now'.

Fans and former contestants were quick to comment on the advert. Series five star Elys Hutchinson wrote: 'I nominate myself again, I miss Lana 😭🥹👅', with Christine Obanor adding: 'Lana can I come back ? 👉🏽👈🏽 I promise I’ll behave this time and protect the money ! Christine the cop?'. (sic)

A fan the wrote: 'Applying now❤️', with another adding: 'Put me on the show'.

Although applications for series three closed in March this year, BBC bosses have now renewed the hit show for a fourth series, and applications are now open! Filming is due to begin in 2025.

Too Hot To Handle first launched on Netflix back in April 2020, and after five successful series, the show has now expanded to a number of International versions, including Brazil, Germany and Latino.

The premise of the show involves a group of single adults, who often struggle to form long-term relationships and instead enjoy meaningless flings, living in a luxury villa for four weeks as they attend workshops with relationship experts.

Of course, there is a twist! The contestants are banned from any sexual contact or self-gratification, and if they do, the prize money begins to fall!

All five series of Too Hot To Handle are available on Netflix now.
