Last Saturday Dec Donnelly, Scarlett Moffatt and Stephen Mulhern presented the season finale of Saturday Night Takeaway at Universal Studios Orlando Resort. Guests on the show included The Rembrants, the band best known for the performing the theme tune for the hit TV show Friends.
As the band took to the stage to perform their hit 'I'll Be There For You', it emerged that we've all been singing the words to the infamous song wrong, as one viewer found out the hard way. During the Singalong Live segment she missed out on a prize after not singing the correct lyrics. She sang, "When the rain starts to FALL" but the correct lyrics are, "When the rain starts to POUR."
Watch the moment below:
And it turns out the viewer who missed out on the $705 prize wasn't the only person who thought the missing word was 'fall', as viewers took to Twitter in their droves.
Some also commented with some hilarious gifs using clips from the hit TV show.
Another viewer said, 'I can’t believe I’ve been singing the theme tune to Friends wrong for the past 20 years! Who knew it was Pour and not FALL??!'
One viewer even pointed out that the subtitles on Netflix were wrong!
As well as The Rembrants, former Bond girl Denise Richards was the Guest Announcer, with superstar Craig David being the resident DJ throughout the show.
The final episode of Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway took place last Saturday presented by Dec Donnelly, Scarlett Moffatt and Stephen Mulhern. The programme was once again missed by Dec's co-star Ant McPartlin who is getting help for his addictions.
