Killing Eve is one of those shows that will go down in history as one you have to watch - no matter what generation you are. The first season, starring Sandra Oh, Jodie Comer and Fiona Shaw, was one of the most gripping things many have watched in years, and fans of the show have been waiting with baited breath to discover what happened after Eve FINALLY got Villanelle.

Lucky for US fans, the show's second season premiered in America in April, but the rest of us in the UK have been desperate for a whiff of news about when the show will make it across the sea. Thankfully, we now have an idea!

According to Empire magazine, Killing Eve's second season will be making an appearance on our telly boxes in less than two months' time - with the air date reportedly set to be in June this summer.

Sadly, we still don't have an exact release date for the second series of the show, but knowing that it will be in June is enough for now. Plus, there's the fact that adverts have started appearing on BBC One for the show, which means that it could be sooner rather than later.

At the end of series one, fans were left absolutely gobsmacked after Eve tempted Villanelle to bed, before shockingly stabbing her in the stomach. Instantly regretting her actions, Eve tried to find something to help the assassin - but when she turned back round, she was gone.

This meant we've had MONTHS of wondering whether Villanelle survived, but thanks to the many trailers for the show, we can see that the incredible Jodie Comer has reprised her role - especially after winning the BAFTA TV Award for Best Actress earlier this week!
