Next week on Corrie, Sally Metcalfe's defrauding case finally gets to court, and conman Duncan Radfield doesn't hold back with his spiel, even lying to her sister's face. Tim Metcalfe is embroiled in his own mess with the cops, and Gemma Winter finally realises she has feelings for Chesney Brown – but is it too late? Before all that, let's recap on this week in Coronation Street...

Abi Franklin gets herself into a state after drinking too much, and ends up being taken away in an ambulance. Seb Franklin tells Tracy Barlow she's ruined his mums life and, wracked with guilt, Tracy visits Abi in hospital where she comes clean.

But following the mess she's caused and a further incident in the flower shop, Abi is arrested on suspicion of theft and breaking and entering. Her chances with the twins are dashed, and Seb tells the care worker he wants to adopt them. Abi is sent down for 16 weeks.

Leanne Battersby goes public with her rekindled relationship with Nick Tisley, but Peter Barlow is not impressed. Simon Barlow announces he wants to join the navy, and the two of them worry for his future. Leanne implores Nick to speak with Simon, and he convinces him to finish school first.

Nick and Carla Connor don't see eye to eye over the future of the business. Having agreed they won't have any secrets Leanne brings Nick up to date on her love life since he left.

Meanwhile Gina Seddon heads out on a date herself and is shocked to find her internet date 'Ian' is in fact Duncan. Over dinner, Gina reveals that she's Sally's sister and knows exactly who he is. Duncan's unfazed and tells Gina how he and Sally had an affair and how Sally made him defraud the council.

Having signed the contract without even reading it Tracy and Steve McDonald are stunned when Amy Barlow points out certain clauses and threatens to divorce them if they don't adhere to them. Tracy is furious realising Adam Barlow has stitched them up.

Adam tells Steve and Tracy that Amy's contract is really just her way of letting them know how worried she is. Amy's taken aback when Tracy presents her with a home cooked meal. When Tracy explains she's merely executing the terms of the contract, Amy becomes upset and asserts that all she's ever wanted is a normal family.
