When Nick Tilsley learns about Carla's intentions, he is furious. He exposes Carla to the entire factory floor and with their jobs at risk, the workers aren't playing nicely in Coronation Street next week. Despite Peter Barlow's best efforts to soften the blow for Carla she lashes out at him, and Ken Barlow urges him to work out how he feels about her – once and for all.
Evelyn Plummer has returned to Weatherfield, but Tyrone Dobbs is not about to let her off the hook that easily. Taking her on part time at the garage to pay him back the money she owes, he's surprised by her usefulness.
Kate Connor and Rana Habeeb want to take back control of their wedding planning from Lolly, who has suggested a male stripper for the hen do! But when Lolly overhears them gossiping about her, it's time to cut to the chase.
Michelle Connor is devasted when an unplanned trip the hospital reveals she wasn't pregnant after all. Robert Preston thinks Carla is meddling, and warns her to stay away.

Now let's recap on what's happening this week... Shona Ramsey's life hangs in the balance when her dalliance with crime reaches breaking point. With Shona and Clayton Hibbs' still holed up in the warehouse, everyone is on tenterhooks as armed police surround the building. When Shona staggers out of the building covered in blood and collapses, David thinks the Kylie Platt nightmare is happening all over again
Later on at his surprise birthday party, Seb can't hide his contempt for Gary Windass and squares up to him, resulting in a scuffle that could cost him his job. Seb isn't the only person Gary has got on the wrong side of – Carla Connor refuses to give in to his demands for more money, and says she won't have the roof fixed until it's absolutely necessary.
Across the cobbles, things get awkward when Seb turns up at Sarah's place and bursts in on her in the bath. Elsewhere, Michelle Connor tries to convince Robert Preston that she's still desperate for a baby, but nothing prepares them for shocking turn of events...
