They say never work with animals or children, but Claire Foy and Matt Smith have to do both in The Crown - and admit they're often upstaged during filming.

Claire Foy's won critical acclaim for playing the Queen in the hit Netflix show - and you can't have the Queen without corgis!

But according to Claire when the corgis are on set then "all the shots are about the corgis".

Apparently they're also not very good at staying still, with the trainer constantly shouting "You stay where you are" - which confuses Claire because "I don't know whether she's telling me off or the corgis!".

Matt Smith, who plays the Queen's husband Prince Philip, then piped up to tell us how the corgis get rewarded - and the secret is cheese. Yep, a nice bit of mature cheddar.

Claire even suggested we head down to the supermarket to pick some up (there were corgis in the room we had to wait in before chatting to them).

They also weighed in on the rumours the Queen and Philip have watched the show, telling us 'Prince Philip hasn't watched it, he's too cool'.

Claire says she'd love the younger Royals to watch so they can understand what the Queen has been through.

She reckons the Queen would spend her time judging the outfits and commenting "I would never have worn that".

Their co-star Vanessa Kirby, who plays the Queen's sister Princess Margaret, is more interested in how the Queen watches it, if she does, saying "just the thought of the Queen sitting on her little bed propped up watching it on her laptop.

"Do you think she has a laptop or does she watch it on TV? What do you think it is? One of those ones that get wheeled out?"

She went on to say if they have seen it she hopes they've enjoyed it and not been offended.
