Beyoncé's Netflix documentary confirmed for release very soon

It follows her celebrated Coachella performance in 2018

Last week, there was much excitement surrounding the rumours there was a Netflix documentary in the works, following Beyoncé's Coachella performance, and now, we're pleased to confirm that the news is in fact true and it will be released very soon! The official trailer of the new documentary, Homecoming: A Film By Beyoncé, has just dropped and shows various clips of Beyoncé, ending with her amazing Coachella performance, which was praised by fans around the world.

Netflix describe the show as an 'intimate, in-depth look at Beyoncé's celebrated 2018 Coachella performance', as it reveals 'the emotional road from creative concept to cultural movement.'

Although the trailer has only been available for a few hours, loads of Beyoncé's fans have already been commenting on it saying, 'Best present ever!!!!! Thanks Beyonce, thanks Netflix', another said, 'The queen giving back', with a further person commenting, 'I'm freaking out😍😍😍😍'.

Homecoming: A Film By Beyoncé will be available to stream from the 17th April on Netflix.

Last week, Us Weekly reported a source saying that the pop star was working on some new music expected to be released sometime this summer. The source also revealed news of the Netflix documentary.

During her two-hour set, Beyoncé wowed her fans with performances of her biggest hits, before the 100,0000 strong crowd were given a massive surprise. As the silhouette of the famous trio appeared on stage, fans began to cheer, then as the lights came up Beyoncé, Kelly and Michelle sang their hits 'Lose My Breath', 'Say My Name' and 'Soldier'.
