WATCH: Taylor Swift performs acoustic version of 'Blank Space' at The GRAMMY Museum
She explains where she got her inspiration for the song.
Taylor Swift has released a video of her performing at The GRAMMY Museum.
The 'Shake It Off' singer was at the Los Angeles museum in September 2015 to celebrate her record-breaking exhibit and treated a small audience to a selection of her songs accompanied by just her guitar.
The video of the performance released yesterday (7th January) also includes Taylor explaining in her own words the inspiration for her hit 'Blank Space'.
"In the last couple of years the media have had a wonderful fixation on (kind of) painting me as the psycho serial-dater girl," Taylor says, going on to describe some of the ways her personality has been perceived by the media.
Instead of feeling down about this alter ego the media had created she decided to draw inspiration, continuing, "hey, that's a really interesting character they're writing about...I can use this".
'Blank Space' reached number four in the UK charts when it was released in November 2014.
Earlier this month Taylor also released a video of her performing 'Wildest Dreams' at the same event.
