Sam Smith, George Ezra and Clean Bandit to battle for Ivor Novello award
The full list of nominees have been revealed
Three of the most successful acts of the past year - Sam Smith, George Ezra and Clean Bandit - will go head-to-head at The Ivor Novello Awards next month.
Sam Smith’s ‘Stay With Me’, Clean Bandit’s ‘Rather Be’ and George Ezra’s ‘Budapest’ are all nominated in the PRS for Music most performed work category.
Voted for by songwriters, the prestigious awards ceremony will celebrate its 60th anniversary at the Tuesday 21st May ceremony.
The nominees were revealed at The Arts Club in London this afternoon by veteran broadcaster Paul Gambaccini.
Other acts in the running for awards include Ben Howard, Hozier, Royal Blood, FKA Twigs, Wild Beasts, and Bombay Bicycle Club.
