LISTEN: The Stone Roses release new single 'All For One'
It's the band's first single in over two decades
Indie legends The Stone Roses have premiered their first single in over two decades, ‘All For One’.
The incredibly catchy anthem sees the Manchester four-piece play to their strengths and is packed with trademark John Squire guitar riffs and optimistic lyrics (“All for one, one for all / If we take a stand, we shall not fall”) delivered in Ian Brown’s unique style.
Penned by Squire and Brown, the track was recorded at Church Studios in London with Adele, Paul McCartney and Coldplay producer Paul Epworth at the helm.

Hints of the new song began on Tuesday (10th May) when the band’s lemon logo appeared on digital advertising boards and posters in streets and shops in The Stone Roses’ native Manchester.
Keeping their cards very close to their chest, the band are yet to formally announce whether ‘All For One’ is the first tantalising taster for a full album.
The band’s last album, ‘Second Coming’, was released way back in December 1994.
The Stone Roses play four colossal homecoming shows at Manchester Etihad Stadium this June before headlining T in the Park.
Tickets to the Wednesday 15th June Manchester show and T in the Park are on sale right here.
