LISTEN: Harry Styles Late For BRIT Award Speech
The One Direction lad nearly missed his acceptance speech after a visit to the toilet.
20 year-old Harry Styles almost missed out at last nights BRIT Awards last night when he arrived late to the stage after One Direction were awarded the Global Success Award.
Fellow band-members Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik all took to the stage with puzzled faces to accept the award, meanwhile Harry was nowhere to be seen.
Taking to the mic, Liam asked "Has anyone seen a curly-headed lad?" as the remaining three glanced around the O2 in an attempt to spot Harry. A few moments passed before Harry eventually run up across the catwalk from the back of the stage area, to join the boys at the podium.
"I'm really sorry, I was having a wee. The toilets are ages away!" explained Styles as he was handed the mic by Liam.
"Um, what did we win?"
One Direction scooped the British Global Success Award and the fan-voted British Video Award for ‘Best Song Ever’ at last nights BRITs Awards at the O2 Arena in London.
