KSI joined our incredible line-up at Hits Live Birmingham on 20th November along with incredible artists like Anne-Marie, Tom Grennan, Becky Hill, Dermot Kennedy, Years & Years, Rag'n'Bone Man, James Arthur and The Wanted, and it was an amazing night!

Next year Hits Live will have THREE incredible shows as we head to Liverpool on 20th May 2022, Manchester on 11th November 2022 and Birmingham on 12th November 2022. Find out how to get tickets here.

As well as putting on an incredible performance, KSI took the time to chat to us about adjusting to his new-found fame since starting his music career.

While the rapper is still getting used to being recognised and stopped by fans whilst out and about, he has also had a few starstruck moments when meeting other celebs, and told us: "I always still get a little starstruck, but I try to keep it cool and just keep it professional and I'm doing my thing, you’re doing your thing."

KSI has also managed to build a relationship with his idol Lorraine Kelly and has now met her many times, he described her as "pretty much my second mum" and said he thought it was "so sick" that they were friends.

He spoke about their relationship: "She’s amazing. She’s always been supportive of me from the beginning. I appreciate her so much. Even when I had my KSI show, she was hilarious. I did her podcast, it was funny as well. We have a really good time."

Not all interactions with fellow celebrities have gone so smoothly though, as KSI revealed his embarrassing encounter with Emma Watson: "So I met Emma Watson for the first time. It was literally the worst thing. Not because I met her, but it’s how I met her.

"So basically, we were walking, so she was coming towards me. I was coming towards her, down this narrow hallway, and I was like, 'oh my gosh it’s Emma Watson. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh'. And my manager was like, 'Just say, hi'. So we crossed paths and I just went, (in high-pitched voice) 'hi Emma?'

"I was sweating and everything. I couldn’t believe it. I was like, 'yo, why has my voice done this to me?' She was just like, 'oh hey'. I was like, I want to die. Wow. But she was like, 'great to see you' and all this and that. She was lovely, but from that moment I knew I'd ruined it for myself, like that one interaction."

We probably would've reacted the same way meeting Emma Watson!
