Ke$ha Sends Update From Rehab
The singer said she was ‘overwhelmed to tears’ by all of the love from fans.
Ke$ha has thanked fans for their support while she has been in rehab.
In a series of tweets from her official account, the singer said she was ‘overwhelmed to tears’ by all of the love from fans.
As you’d expect though, the messages were not sent directly by the star, who is currently seeking treatment for an eating disorder. Instead, they apparently came via one of her friends.
“This is Kesha’s friend. She asked me to tweet an update for her because she doesn’t have access to twitter right now
she says “THANK YOU. SOOO MUCH. I’m overwhelmed to tears by all of the love, letters, and support!! I’ll be back soon and better than ever”
Ke$ha checked in to a rehab facility in Chicago earlier this month to treat an eating disorder. The singer explained, at the time, that she needed time to learn to love herself again.;
"I’ll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder … to learn to love myself again, exactly as I am."
Ke$ha unveiled her video for the track Dirty Love on New Year’s Day, telling fans that it was her “directoral debut” and scored the first UK Number 1 single of 2014, alongside Pitbull, with Timber.
