Harry Styles tells us how new dad Liam Payne is feeling

Harry Styles caught up with our very own Darryl Morris from the evening show.

While we were talking about his new single, ‘Sign of the Times’, of course we had to ask him about his former bandmate Liam Payne and his new baby!

Harry told us he had spoken to Liam recently about being a new dad. "He is 'loving it' and he says 'it's going really well'," Harry said, but when he was questioned over whether he might be asked to be a godfather, he gave a modest answer.

He said Liam would have a lot of people he would like to ask, so he wouldn't be adding any "extra pressure" to his former bandmate.

Liam and his girlfriend Cheryl announced the birth of their baby boy on the 25th March but have yet to tell their fans what the baby's name is.

Harry shot to fame back in 2010 when he auditioned for The X Factor as a solo artist. Later in the show, music mogul Simon Cowell assembled boyband One Direction made up of Harry, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik.

Despite finishing third on the show, One Direction went on to become one of the biggest selling boybands and scored a massive 14 top ten hits, including four number ones.

Harry's single 'Sign of the Times' is released today (7th April) and you can listen to it and all the biggest hits, all day long right here.
