The Brits 2013 is the biggest night in British music, awarding the finest talent from Britain and celebrating the finest acts to grace our fair shores from abroad!

The red carpet was awash with stars including One Direction, Taylor Swift & Ed Sheeran to name a few!

And before the show we found out that Ed Sheeran lost his mobile phone! And if that wasn't bad enough it had his second album on it!

First up to open the show was Muse with a massive light and fire show, with hundreds of string players! It was epic!

Then the first award of the night went to the amazing Emeli Sande! She won the Best British Female Solo Artist, Well Done Emeli!

Robbie Williams gave an amazing performance of his hit Candy just before the second award of the night, Best British Group, sadly the One Direction boys missed out this time as the award went to Mumford & Sons who are still really cool winners!

And we've missed Justin Timberlake! He gave us an impressive performance on the Brits 2013 stage and it looked like he'd been using the straightners :S

One of our highlights of the night was Sharon Osbourne making a rude comment about Harry Styles and his "magic wand"!

Then came our most favourite highlight! One Direction performing 'One Way or Another' on stage! They were ama-ZAYN-ing! Ha!

Did you see Coldplay on their amazing 'Mylo Xyloto' tour last year? Well that won them the Best British Live Act award!

Adele then took Best British Single for the theme for the James Bond movie 'Skyfall' and this time she wasn't interrupted during her speech! Phew! Skyfall is deservant of the best single awards though, download it below!

And everyone went crazy for Taylor Swifts performance of 'I Knew You Were Trouble' she looked amazing!

Frank Ocean took the Best Male Solo Artist and underground singer we're loving at The Hits Radio, Well Done Frank! : )

Next up Mumford & Sons took the stage for an incredible performance of their feel good tune 'I Will Wait'

As we get this far into the night it seems that Rita Ora as much as we hate to say has been the biggest loser of the night being nominated 3 awards and not winning any them, poor Rita : (

And Emeli Sande rounds off the night winning Best British Album, Looks like it was Emeli's night! Go Girl!

and just when we thought it was all over One Direction go and win an award! they won 'Global Success Award!!!'
