Beyonce is reportedly in talks to record the soundtrack for the next James Bond film.
Yup, the singer could be following in the footsteps of Adele, Sam Smith, Madonna and record the theme tune for the next James Bond film which is due for release in 2019.
Apparently, Beyonce has had a series of meetings with the Bond producers and might even draft in husband Jay-Z’s services to perform on the track.
Beyonce’s interest in the project has been spiked by Adele, a Beyhive source ‘This is the only project she is remotely interested in right now. The two spoke before Bey’s first meeting with film bosses and Adele told her how co-writing and performing a Bond theme gave her an amazing career hike.’ Apparently Bond producers are incredibly keen to get Beyonce on board for the 25th Bond film and Daniel Craig’s 5th appearance as 007.
Earlier this month, Craig confirmed he would be returning as the iconic spy. Appearing on The Late Show in the US, host Stephen Colbert whilst appearing on The Late Show and he replied "yes".
He continued, "We've been discussing it, we've just been trying to figure things out," he said. "I always wanted to, I needed a break."
Bond 25 will be written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, who wrote the last four films; Casino Royale, Quantam Of Solace, Skyfall and Spectre, which all starred Daniel Craig.
The next installment in the James Bond film franchise has been given a release date of 8th November 2019. The as yet untitled Bond 25 film will be released in the UK earlier than the rest of the world.
The last two Bond films, Spectre and Skyfall, were directed by Sam Mendes who has stated he is moving on from the films
