Beyoncé and Adele turned down 'All About That Bass'
Both Beyoncé and Adele turned down the chance to record Meghan Trainor's global hit 'All About That Bass'.
It has been revealed that global super-singers, Beyonce and Adele, both turned down the opportunity to record Meghan Trainor's huge number one single 'All About That Base'.
Speaking to The Guardian, Meghan explained that number one hit was offered to various artists, but none of them were right for the track. "Some artists get thousands of songs pitched and they never know, so Beyoncé herself probably never heard it," Trainor admitted. She added: "There weren't any singers at the time who fit the song. Adele was the only one, but she wasn't rapping and singing sassy songs with swears in them."
