Ariana Grande Dislikes Miley Comparisons

Ariana Grande has admitted that she dislikes being compared to fellow musician and singer, Miley Cyrus.

The pair are often compared to each other as they both started their careers in childrens television before progressing into the music industry: Ariana starred in Victorious while Miley began her television career in Hannah Montana.

In an interview with the Daily Star, Ariana Grande explained: "There are so many comparisons for girls in this industry - it's annoying. "I'm not thinking, 'Miley Cyrus is doing this, so I ought to do this too'. We are all trying to do our own things and be successful in our own right."

The 21 year-old also spoke briefly about her recent US chart success with singles 'Fancy' and 'Problem'.

Talking about her relationship with rapper Iggy Azaelia, she said: "The last act to do that was The Beatles. I called her and freaked out. I have so much respect for her - she's so chilled."
