Adele is performing at The BRIT Awards 2016!
Four years on from her legendary rendition of 'Someone Like You'
Four years on from her defining performance of ‘Someone Like You’ at the 2011 BRIT Awards, Adele has been confirmed to sing live at next year’s ceremony.
The biggest star on the planet right now will grace The O2, London ceremony on Wednesday 24th February where she’ll perform alongside a series of as-yet-announced stars.
BRITs Chairman Max Lousada said: “You couldn’t get a bigger name in music right now. Adele is having an exceptional moment and The BRITs are delighted to be a part of her history, her present and future."
Adele, of course, has a close affinity with The BRITs having studied at the BRIT School in her teenage years – the performing arts academy that also spawned Amy Winehouse, Leona Lewis, Jessie J and Rizzle Kicks.
Back in 2008 she won the coveted BRITs Critics’ Choice award then three years later gave arguably the greatest BRIT Awards live performance ever with ‘Someone Like You’.
The BRIT Awards 2016 nominations will be unveiled on 14th January. We wouldn’t bet against Adele being up for a fair few!
