5SOS' Ashton Irwin Rushed Into Surgery
5SOS have had to cancel big UK tour dates after bandmember, Ashton Irwin, was rushed into hospital last night.
5 Second of Summer have had to cancel various tour dates in both Japan and the UK after bandmember, Ashton Irwin, was rushed into hospital for emergency surgery.
The band announced via thier Twitter that Irwin is very ill, having been diagnosed with appendicitis as a result of a very busy timetable.
In regards to tour date cancellations, the band have released a statement saying:
‘We are so sorry to everyone that had planned on seeing us. We were so excited to come see you all and we never want to make any of you sad… We hope you understand!’
‘Thanks so much for supporting all we do, we love you. Can’t wait for us four lads to get back on the road (minus one band appendix) and rock out with you all again soon!’
#GetWellSoonAshton has been trending all morning on Twitter as fans send their best wishes to the 20 year-old.
