John Newman joined us backstage at Key 103 Live in association with Stagecoach Bus where he told us about his love for 'bread and spread', his new single and the wildest thing he has seen since he became famous.
The 'Olé' singer turned up to the event dressed for a country club with his dapper blazer and felt slippers and said he felt "chilled" and "excited" to be at the event.
Key 103's Darryl Morris asked John about something he has mentioned a few times on Instagram stories, 'bread and spread'. Darryl asked John what he meant by 'bread and spread' and unsurprisingly he replied, "it's simply bread with good spread"!
John told Darryl that he really loves the simplicity of good bread and spread, he just doesn't like hard butter.
Darryl also asked John about the wildest moment he has had since he became famous. Reminiscing about a night in Las Vegas, John told us how he watched a man drink vodka and cranberry from a girl's shoe!
John's first hit 'Feel The Love' was with Rudimental in 2012 and they will be also be performing at Key 103 Live tonight, the singer told Darryl that he's excited about having a bit of a 'throwback' with the boys.
John also told us about his exciting new song, which is doing really well for him in America, and he can't wait to release it over here. John features on Norwegian DJ Kygo's song 'Never Let You Go' which was released at the end of October.
