Camp Bestival announces out-of-this-world DJ line-up
They all join headliners Fatboy Slim, Tears For Fears and Jess Glynne
Camp Bestival have unveiled the stellar DJ line-up for this year’s family extravaganza.
Taking to the turntables at the outer space-themed weekend are DJ god Sasha, hacienda legend Greg Wilson’s Super Weird Substance, reggae hero David Rodigan MBE who will present Ram Jam featuring sets from Trevor Nelson, Wookie, Kiko Bun (live) and Venum Sound and rare groove kingpin Norman Jay MBE.
Also on the DJ line-up are Acid Housewife (aka Lottie and Smokin’ Jo) and English Disco Lovers.
And that’s not all. There is also a Purple Rave tribute to Prince from Rob da Bank, pioneers of family clubbing Big Fish Little Fish, Fun DMC, the Kids Disco with Pan’s People, Nutty’s Disco and Junior Jungle Rave.
Camp Bestival organiser Rob da Bank says: “We always like to get the whole family dancing at Camp Bestival, so this year I’m really chuffed that we have some proper DJing legends who will be more than familiar to mums and dads but who will definitely get the kids up on their feet and partying.
“From the legendary Sasha, Hacienda giant Greg Wilson and lifetime Camp Bestival resident David Rodigan to amazing family ravers Big Fish Little Fish and Fun DMC, not forgetting Pan’s People, we’re all going to be spoilt for choice!”
The dance acts join an incredible line-up that already boasts Fatboy Slim, Tears For Fears, Jess Glynne, Katy B, Squeeze, DJ Yoda, The Cuban Brothers, The Brand New Heavies and many more.
Taking place at Lulworth Castle in Dorset from Thursday 28th to Sunday 31st July 2016. Tickets are on sale now.
