Adele backs Kesha in BRIT Award acceptance speech

Adele publicly backs the singer.

After Adele won her a BRIT Award for ‘Best British Female’ she publicly backed Kesha in her award speech.

Adele won the first award of the night which she was presented with by One Direction’s Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson and the star ended her acceptance speech by saying “I would like to say I publicly support Kesha.’

The ‘Timber’ singer is currently going through a court case to get out of her contract after allegations that her producer sexually assaulted her.

It turned out to be a very successful night for the ‘Hello’ singer as she went on to pick up another three awards including The Global Success Award which she was presented live from space by astronaut Tim Peake.

Adele was also crowned the winner of British Single for her hit song ‘Hello’ and MasterCard British Album of The Year for ‘25’.

The 27-year-old then brought the evening to an end with a flawless performance of her new single ‘When We Were Young.’
