Titled The Emoji Movie, Sir Patrick's part isn't just 'any old emoji' he will be lending his voice to the 'poo' emoji, or as they call it in America 'poop'.
As expected the announcement has received a mixed reaction from fans with many referencing Sir Patrick's past roles which include characters in other animations including The Simpsons, Family Guy and American Dad!
