Will Smith opens up about Oscars boycott
"This is not a fight".
Will Smith has opened up about boycotting the Oscars award ceremony.
Speaking to our entertainment reporter Jo Parkerson he explained that he wants Hollywood to be pushing forward to create a more inclusive industry.
It's not a 'fight' he said and he added the Hollywood community is like a 'family' who'll all work through the issue.
It's after his wife Jada Pinkett Smith annouced they would not be attending the event arguing that 'people of colour' don't get nominated enough, an issue which Will Smith describes as 'regressive'.
