US rapper Mac Miller has been found dead at the age of 26. His body was found on Friday the 7th September 2018. Law enforcement officers told TMZ that he was found at his San Fernando Valley home and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mac Miller was the stage name of Malcolm James McCormick, who was a record producer and singer who released his latest studio album, 'Swimming' in August this year. On the 30th May 2018, Mac released the first single from what would be his final studio album, 'Smaller Worlds'.
People have been taking to Twitter to pay their respects.
Mac Miller dated singer Ariana Grande September 2016 until earlier this year. The 'No Tears Left To Cry' singer has been forced to disable comments on her Instagram after receiving comments that she was to blame for his death.
When Ariana announced her split with Mac, she posted a loving photo of the couple on her Instagram story alongside a caption that read, 'Hi! This is one of my best friends in the whole world and favorite people on the planet Malcolm McCormick. I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for each of us! Unconditional love is not selfish. It is wanting the best for that person even if at the moment, it's not you. I can't wait to know and support you forever and I'm so proud of you!!' sic
