Cruel internet trolls slammed the pair
Tom and Giovanna Fletcher have been slammed by online trolls for the latest Instagram picture of their eldest son, Buzz.
The couple are known for their cute family announcements and often share pictures of their two children to their respective social media sites, usually getting a lot of love from fans.
However when the proud mum shared the latest photo of Buzz some cruel internet trolls filled the page with negative comments.
Giovanna uploaded a picture of Buzz’s new shoes with the caption ‘Colourful show game today from Buzz!’
Immediately after the picture was uploaded, some fans did not agree with the bright pink laces on the two-year-olds shoes and slammed the couple for putting their son in ‘girl’s shoes’. One user wrote ‘These laces are highly embarrassing for a boy’, whilst another said ‘stop putting your son in girl’s shoes’.
The comments, which have now been deleted, caused uproar on the page with fans of the McFly man showing their support for the family.
One user wrote ‘These are so cute, I didn’t realise shoes had a gender!’ with a fellow parent writing ‘Fabulous, I will be looking for some of these for my boys.’
Another angry user defended the couple writing ‘Parenting done right! Don’t rise your child to gender associate products, raise them to have the confidence to make their own choices’.
The couple, who are yet to comment on the situation, posted further pictures from their family day out.
Giovanna captioned proud dad Tom walking alongside Buzz whilst carrying their youngest son, Buddy. The caption read ‘Nailing dad life’.
Tom and Giovanna welcomed their second child into the world in February and of course in true Fletcher fashion uploaded the most amazing time-lapse video of their journey through pregnancy, calling it ‘From Bump to Buzz’.
