Viewers of the Great British Bake Off were left in shock at contestant Candice Brown last night (Wednesday 28th October), when she appeared to be missing her signature dark lipstick.
The 31-year-old teacher has appeared with bold lip choices on every episode so far but on last night’s episode she opted for the nude look.

It seems the choice proved far too much for some fans to handle…
Her choice of lipstick wasn’t the only thing to cause a stir with viewers. Many fans of the show were shocked when they heard Candice seemingly call Mary Berry a ‘tart’.
Baking a lemon, lime and coconut pastry during Botanical Week, Candice was in the process of having her creation judged by Mary and Paul, but viewers were left unhappy at what the aspiring baker had to say.
Paul wasn’t a fan of the pastry and said “It’s very wet meringue that, isn’t it?”. It seems Mary didn’t agree though and was impressed by Candice’s baking when she said “The curd itself is actually a very good flavour”.
Despite the praise, Candice appeared to say ‘Thank you…tart” in response to Mary.
Viewers of the show were quick to notice her ‘rude’ comment and took to social media to discuss the moment.
The current series is the last which will feature the current judges and hosts, with the show moving to Channel 4 from next year.
Last week Mary Berry announced she wouldn't be joining the show on Channel 4 out of 'loyalty' despite Paul Hollywood confirming he has signed a new three-year deal.
Popular hosts Mel and Sue have also confirmed that the current series will be their last.
