Rita Ora set for Oscars performance

The Voice judge will sing 'Grateful'

Pop star and The Voice judge Rita Ora has been confirmed to perform at the Oscars next month.

The 24-year-old will sing ‘Grateful’ from ‘Beyond the Lights’, one of the five compositions up for the best song award at this year’s ceremony.

The ‘I Will Never Let You Down’ singer tweeted about her excitement at being asked to perform at the prestigious event.

She posted: “I’m excited to announce @TheAcademy invited me to perform on the #Oscars on Feb 22nd!”

The show’s producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, said: “The mixture of her incredible voice and glamour makes a perfect combination for our show.”

Also performing at this year’s Oscars ceremony will be Maroon 5 frontman, Adam Levine, who will hit the stage to sing Lost Stars, an Oscar-nominated track he performed alongside Keira Knightley in the musical ‘Begin Again’.

While John Legend and rapper Common will perform their Oscar-nominated track ‘Glory’, taken from the thought-provoking movie ‘Selma’.
