Piers slammed the couple

Piers Morgan is known for his outspoken and controversial views and now he has taken a swipe at David and Victoria Beckham.

The couple have each posted separate videos of their youngest son, 11-year-old Cruz singing in front of the camera.

Last week, Victoria shared a 30 second clip of Cruz singing Twista and Faith’s classic hit ‘Hopeless’ and the young man received great feedback from her followers, with some even comparing the youngster to Justin Bieber.

Now proud dad David has uploaded a new clip of his son performing ‘The Cup Song’ which was made famous by popular actress Anna Kendrick in the film Pitch Perfect.

However, despite fans of the family giving rave reviews, Good Morning Britain presenter Piers has hit out at the Beckhams calling them ‘shameless’.

On the show this morning, Piers said he did not agree with the videos, saying Cruz should not have had his video posted to ‘gazillions of people’.

He said “I don’t think it’s good. You get these celebrity parents and they bang on about protecting their kids and they go on about privacy and then they’re Instagramming this 11-year-old to gazillions of people, trying to make him a star like Brooklyn is now a photographer.”

The controversial star then went on to add “I think it’s shameless. We all go ‘ah, that’s cute, but I don’t think it’s good for him.”

Despite Piers’ criticism, showbiz reporter, Richard Arnold defended the couple claiming it was ‘all part of their fishbowl-like world'.
