Peter Andre is 7th celebrity announced for 'Strictly Come Dancing'

Peter Andre has been announced as the latest celebrity signing for the 13th series of 'Strictly Come Dancing'.

Peter joins EastEnders star Kellie Bright, weather presenter Carol Kirkwood, Katie Derham, former Coronation Street actress Georgia May Foote, TV chef Ainsley Harriott and BBC host Jeremy Vine.

Best known for his successful chart-topping singles 'Mysterious Girl' and 'Flava', Peter became the sixth highest selling artist in the world in the 90s. Since then he has remained in the public eye with an appearance on 'I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!' and with various fly-on-the-wall documentaries about his life.

The singer had admitted he would love to appear on the show but wasn't sure if he'd be able to pull off the Lycra outfits. On the BBC blog Andre stated he wasn't that confident, “I’m nervous because it will be a very new experience for me.” However he did say he was excited at the opportunity.
