The Oscars 2015: Full Winners' List
Birdman, Eddie Redmayne and Julianne Moore all triumph
British actor Eddie Redmayne and movie Birdman both won big at the 87th Academy Awards in Los Angeles last night (22nd February).
Picking up his coveted Best Actor Oscar for his portrayal of a young Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything, Eddie Redmayne paid tribute to Hawking and his "staggering partner in crime", co-star Felicity Jones.
Starring Michael Keaton as a washed up actor trying to make it on Broadway, Birdman scooped the biggest honour of the night, Best Picture.
The movie also picked up the second biggest prize of the night, Best Director for Alejandro González Iñárritu, but tied with The Grand Budapest Hotel on the Oscars tally table with four awards each.
Julianne Moore won Best Actress for her role as Alzheimer's disease sufferer Dr. Alice Howland in Still Alice.
Widely tipped to pick up multiple awards, Richard Linklater’s epic coming-of-age drama Boyhood only picked up one honour – Best Supporting Actress for Patricia Arquette.
