One Direction movie director: Harry Styles will be next to leave
He also claims Zayn was the most talented in the group
One Direction may soon be reduced to three, according to Morgan Spurlock, director of 1D documentary ‘This Is Us’.
The acclaimed director says he thinks that the band would remain together for the time being, before Harry Styles decides to follow in Zayn Malik’s footsteps and leave.
“I think they’ll stay together for a little bit longer and at some point Harry will probably leave, he’ll probably be next,” he told TMZ.
When asked whether he agreed Styles was the stand-out member of the group, Spurlock said he actually thought that Zayn was the most talented in the band – after filming them for six months in 2013.
He also said that fans couldn’t blame Zayn for wanting to leave the band to pursue a solo career.
“I think Zayn is probably the most talented guy in that group, he’s an incredible singer… to make the decision to want to leave and go off on your own and chase a solo career in the midst of being as famous as you are – you can’t fault somebody for that,” he added.
Spurlock’s comments come after news that Louis Tomlinson is currently in the process of launching his own record label.
The One Direction singer will reportedly sign X Factor finalist Jack Walton and is currently holding auditions for a new girl band.
