Nicki Minaj agrees to pay fans' college tuition fees
She agreed to pay 30 fans' tuition fees.

Nicki Minaj’s accountant will have a busy day today, as last night (7th May) the rapper agreed to pay 30 fans tuition fees.
It all started on twitter when Nicki tweeted ‘Show me straight A’s that I can verify w/ur school and I’ll pay it. Who wants to join THAT content?!?! Dead serious. Shld I set it up?’
The requests came in thick and fast with one fan Jacob asking for $500 for Summer books and supplies. Nicki responded ‘Done. Dm ur bank info.’ Another fan Josh asked for $6000 which Nicki agreed to pay if he could provide proof of what the money would be spent on.
Nicolas asked for a professional camera for his media production course, to which Nicki replied ‘of course. How much is the camera?’
Nicki is not the only musician giving back to her fans. Last month Beyonce launched the ‘Formation scholarships’ to mark one year since she released her ‘Lemonade’ album.
Nicki finished off saying 'Ok u guys. It's been fun. Let's me make those payments tmrw then see if I have any money left. I'll do some more in a month or 2.'
Making the announcement on her website Beyonce.com, the aim of the scholarships is ‘to encourage and support young women who are unafraid to think outside the box and are bold, creative, conscious and confident.’ Bey will pay the fees of four students for next academic year.
Ladies eligible to apply are ‘female incoming, current or graduate students pursuing studies in creative arts, music, literature or African-American studies.’
