Myles Stephenson leaves hospital 3 weeks after horrific snowboarding accident
He's been recovering in Intensive Care
Rak-Su singer and former I'm A Celebrity star Myles Stephenson has finally been discharged from hospital out in Andorra, after suffering life-threatening injuries during a snowboarding accident, which left him in Intensive Care.
Myles, who first documented his accident last month, has been constantly updating his fans online throughout his recovery, and now he's delighted to finally be going home following the incident.
Sharing a photo of himself in the hospital corridor, Myles told fans, 'WERE COMING HOME TOMORROW! 🎉 Back in hotel now!' (sic)
The singer also shared a photo alongside the Doctor who saved his life, with Myles telling fans, 'Long recovery ahead but thank god! & thank you to this man for saving my life. Super mario became a friend of mine over through this ordeal! What a super human he is & everyone else that fixed me! ❤️ forever in your debt ❤️'. (sic)
Friends and fans of Myles were quick to comment on his post, sending their love. Nadine Coyle wrote, '❤️❤️❤️❤️', whilst Saffron Barker added, '🙏🏼❤️'. (sic)
Myles' Rak-Su band mate Ashley Fongho wrote, 'See you soon brother ❤️ rest up'.
Following Myles' horrific snowboarding accident in Andorra back in February, the 28-year-old updated fans from Intensive Care, revealing the full extent of his injuries.
He wrote. 'Life is precious people! Cherish every single piece of it! A few days ago I had a bad boarding accident. I have concussion, 2 broken ribs and a punctured spleen which resulted in internal bleeding.
'I have seen progression in good health and thank god I am doing okay. Thank you to nurses, doctors and especially my family for treating me like a prince. I love you all'. (sic)
Despite being in good spirits at the time, just days later Myles' mum updated his fans, revealing her son had suffered a 'set back'.
Posting on his Instagram Story, Myles' mum Vicky wrote, 'Myles has a bit of a set back today. He had a heamothorax and needed a chest drain. He is still thinking of you all and still getting grumpy with his mummy!' (sic)
Myles marked International Women's Day on Sunday 8th March to thank his mum for all her support over the last few weeks. Sharing a photo of the pair together, the singer wrote, 'Happy #internationalwomensday to my mother! She has been through hell these last few weeks but hasn’t shown one bit of weakness! You are the strongest woman I know and I couldn’t have got through this without you! ❤️ An inspiration to all women #strongwomen'. (sic)
