Love Island fans's hearts broke all over the UK last month, when it was revealed that Marcel Somerville had cheated on his girlfriend Gabby Allen whilst the pair were on holiday together.

But now, Marcel has sent out a VERY cryptic tweet to his followers, reading, '#scandal and they thought I was the bad guy... #eyeseverywhere #victim 👀 🤣🤣🤣' sic.

Clearly very confused at what the former Blazin' Squad member meant, fans were quick to comment, with some asking if he was suggesting that Gabby had been unfaithful to him.

One user wrote, 'Come on man...tell the world! Can't say stuff like that then walk away!', with another adding ,'Please elaborate'.

Hmm! 🤔

Marcel is yet to elaborate on his comments, but Gabby has since responded on Instagram.

She wrote, Sadly, my ex boyfriend is accusing me of improper behaviour. I never did anything wrong during our relationship and was 100% faithful throughout. These are the actions of a man attempting to discredit me and make himself feel better about his own infidelity. I am absolutely gutted it has come to this 💔 I wish Marcel and his family all the best for the future. sic

Meanwhile, when rumours of Marcel's infidelity first broke back in May, Gabby was the first to break her silence, confirming the news that the pair were over.

After deleting all trace of Marcel from her social media accounts, Gabby wrote, ''Thank you to everyone for your kind messages, love and support. It's been a tough couple of days, i think i might be in a bit of shock! But i'm sure in time i will be ok. i have the best family and friends around me. I'm a lucky girl.' sic

Marcel's rep then told OK! Magazine, "Sadly the rumours are true, Gabby and Marcel have split up. Marcel can't really defend his actions as he knows he did wrong and will regret it forever."

They then continued, "Marcel is upset that he broke the heart of someone he loves and someone that he shared so many special moments with, but with all the good times there are difficult times, and sadly Marcel and Gabby had been in a bad place at this stage.

"Gabby was a special part of Marcel's life, and he hopes one day she can find it in herself to forgive him. He knows what he did was wrong and is extremely sad about how he has hurt Gabby."

💔💔💔

Now see what all of the Love Island 2017 stars are up to now:

Kem Cetinay

Kem won the 2017 series of Love Island with Amber Davies, but after a six-month romance outside of the villa, the pair split.

Despite his love life not working out, winning Love Island acted as a major platform for Kem. Not only did he get his own TV show alongside Chris Hughes, the pair also released a single called 'Little Bit Leave It', gaining them a record deal.

As well as appearing in a number of promotions, Kem also took part in the 2018 series of Dancing On Ice, making it all the way to the semi-final. He has since just completed the Dancing On Ice tour around the UK.
