Lady Gaga is in talks to headline next year’s Super Bowl half time show, according to Billboard.

The NFL were impressed with Gaga’s performance of the National Anthem at last year’s Super Bowl. However nothing’s confirmed yet, with the NFL saying "We have had conversations with several fantastic artists about the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. However, at this point we do not have a final decision. We're happy there is so much excitement about the show.”

Last month, there were rumours that Adele was in talks with Super Bowl bosses to headline the half time slot. However the songstress was quick to dismiss claims, telling the crowd at her L.A gig : “I’m not doing the Super Bowl. Well I mean, come on, that show is not about music. And I don’t dance or anything like that. They were very kind, they did ask me, but I said no.”

Lady Gaga is yet to address the rumours.

In the meantime, Lady Gaga is keeping busy and has just released her first single in over a year.
