Kym Marsh confirms new relationship after weeks of speculation
The Corrie star has opened up about the new romance

Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh has confirmed that she's now enjoying a new romance after her relationship with personal trainer Matt Baker ended earlier this year. Kym, who has played Michelle Connor on the soap for 12 years, broke up with Matt in April after two years together, confirming the separation in a statement to MailOnline.
It read, 'Sadly, we can confirm Kym and Matt have made the decision to take some time apart, but remain friends. There will be no further comment at this time.'
And after months of speculation, Kym has now confirmed that she's seeing someone new, revealing all in her column for OK! magazine.
She wrote, 'It is true is that I've started seeing someone new in recent weeks, his name is Scott Ratcliff and he's a Major in the Parachute Regiment and he lives and works away quite a lot.'
She wrote that they'd been photographed together on her birthday and that this is when speculation began swirling around the pair, adding, 'I genuinely wasn’t looking for a new relationship after my split from Matt.
'Both Scott and I were recently single – him some time before I was, he’s a good friend of Antony Cotton, who introduced us knowing we’d get on well, which turned out to be true.'
