Kim Kardashian reveals the REAL reason she didn't invite her surrogate to her baby shower
It took place at the weekend
It's been a busy few days for Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim Kardashian, she hosted an extravagant baby shower at her home, accidentally revealed she's expecting a baby girl, and then seemingly confirmed her sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are also pregnant.
But the reality star found herself under criticism when she didn't invite the woman who is carrying her third child to her baby shower at her home in Calabasas over the weekend.
As they often do, Kim's famous family documented the event on their social media accounts, but fans were left wondering why 'the most important' person seemed to be missing.
Kim has now defended herself and explained the real reason why she made the 'weird' decision.
Speaking to The Real, the 37-year-old said, "I introduced her to my family earlier that day, and I just thought... I don't know, it was a weird decision to have to make.
"Of course I would have wanted her to be there, and be part of it, but I hadn't really gone that far in explaining it to my kids yet."
After the baby shower, Kim appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and** **accidentally revealed she's expecting a baby girl in the new year.
Speaking to Ellen, Kim said, "People brought toys and gifts and she was opening them all up the next day and she (North) said, ‘Mom, since baby sister’s not here, I think I need all of her toys in my room and I’ll play with them and just make sure they’re all okay for baby sister."
When Ellen then asked, "You just told us it's a girl!", Kim laughed at her mistake then admitted she is expecting another baby girl.
Kim and Kanye are already parents to four-year-old North and one-year-old Saint.
The new arrival is expected in January 2018.
