Celebrity Big Brother star Jeremy McConnell has been criticised by fans for a 'disgusting' tweet about a woman he spotted shopping in a charity shop.

The Irish model made a comment about the attractiveness of the woman and seemed to mock people who buy clothes from charity shops.

In the tweet which has since been deleted, Jeremy reportedly wrote "Just saw a 10 walk into Oxfam, she a 4 now like."

Clearly not happy with his message, fans were quick to turn on the 25-year-old and hit back at Jeremy for his 'vile' behaviour.

One user wrote 'Really vile from @JezzaMcConnell' with another simply writing 'Disgusting, unfollowed'. Another angry user wrote 'What a moron. She's gone down in your estimation because she helps a charity that helps feed starving children?’

@scookeee then wrote 'Shallow minded little boy' with @groovianto adding 'Very shallow indeed'.

Jeremy has stayed relatively quiet in recent weeks after numerous high profile spats with his pregnant ex-girlfriend Stephanie Davis.

Despite Stephanie telling Jeremy the baby is his, the model continues to believe it's not and according to Steph, Jeremy has made it clear he wants 'nothing to do with the child' when it's born.

Stephanie seemed to win over viewers last month when she emotionally documented her relationship with Jeremy on Loose Women. Admitting she discovered she was expecting just one week after splitting from him, she said “I spoke to Jeremy and tried to tell him, he is 100% the father, he knows that.”

Steph often shares updates of her pregnancy with fans on her social media accounts.

Meanwhile Jeremy is keeping himself busy and has treated fans to various selfies and snaps with friends over the last month.
