31st July is important as it's not only the birthday of one of the most famous fictional characters, Harry Potter, but also of author J.K Rowling. To celebrate her birthday we look at 10 reasons why she is simply an awesome human!
1. She brought us the boy wizard 26th June 1997 was when J.K Rowling's 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' was first published and for 6 more books and 8 films we got to enjoy the fantastic, dangerous and exciting world of Harry Potter and his friends.
2. And keeps that universe well and truly alive There will be a new film "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" that charts the life of an author of Harry and co's wizarding books. There's also the Pottermore website which Rowling constantly uses to update us on unknown facts about the wizarding world.
3. She supports her Potter family
4. She loves her fans
5. And takes down the haters
6. She has great banter
7. In fact she's just funny full stop
8. She promotes equality
9. She stands up for what she believes in
