First teaser poster for James Bond movie Spectre revealed

Excitement builds ahead of the November release date

The first teaser poster for the eagerly awaited new James Bond movie, Spectre, has been revealed.

Featuring a ripped Daniel Craig wearing a tight black outfit and holster while clutching a gun, the poster was unveiled via the official James Bond Twitter account last night.

Filming began on Spectre in December shortly after the movie was announced by the full cast and crew at Pinewood Studios in London.

Directed by the acclaimed Sam Mendes, Daniel Craig will reprise his role as James Bond for a fourth time, while double Oscar winner Christoph Waltz will play his nemesis Oberhauser.

Sherlock’s Andrew Scott will play an MI5 employee called Denbigh and Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista plays henchman Mr Hinx.

The new Bond girls are Italian actress Monica Bellucci and French actress Lea Seydoux who play Lucia Sciarra and Madeleine Swann.

The film’s intriguing plot synopsis reads: "A cryptic message from Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation.

"While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind Spectre."

Spectre, the 24th James Bond movie, hits cinema screens worldwide on 6th November 2015.
