In an attempt to appeal to their younger audience, EastEnders bosses tried out a scene with social media app Snapchat in a recent episode but it didn’t quite go to plan.

The scene in question involved Louise Mitchell send a Snapchat photo of herself to Shakil Kazemi, however eagle eyed viewers noticed she wasn’t actually using the popular app and instead had her front camera open.

This meant she would have saved the video of herself in her own phone rather than sending it to Shakil. Viewers were quick to point out the ‘cringy’ mistake on Twitter.

The popular soap isn’t the only TV show to make mistakes. Just last month viewers were left humoured when Coronation Street made a bit of a blunder.

The scene involved character Anna Windass attempt to make her way around the living room on her crutches, only for them to be the complete wrong way around.

Of course, like EastEnders’ Snapchat error, this didn’t quite go unnoticed and Twitter went into meltdown with tweets about the obvious mistake.

We bet they are more careful in the future!
