Hits Radio Breakfast Show presenters Gethin, Gemma and Dave had a couple of very special guests visit them at the studio in Castlefield, Manchester. Two huge stars appear reunited but is all what it seems?
‘Katy Perry’ and ‘Taylor Swift’ appear to share a giggle together on a surprise girls’ day out in Manchester. The duo, who had previously allegedly been involved in a bitter feud were invited to the city by us here at Hits Radio. The so-called ‘pop queens’ then seemed to put the past behind them and enjoy their time off following the close of their two successful UK tours.
Exploring the sights of the iconic city, pictures emerged of them apparently taking selfies in Albert Square. The superstars then seemed to take in a shopping spree as they were pictured in Exchange Square, before enjoying a bottle of prosecco in the sunshine – much to the surprise of passers-by, who gathered around for pictures.
‘Taylor’ was dressed for the hot weather in a casual crop-top and flattering shorts, whilst ‘Katy’ wore stylish electric blue trousers and leopard print top. Bizarrely the pair were spotted sharing what appeared to be pasty in the city’s Piccadilly Gardens, and even stopped by a tattoo parlour for matching ‘BFF’ tattoos.
The apparent reconciliation comes following the literal olive branch that Katy extended to Taylor on the opening of her tour last month. Now as the pair have found themselves both simultaneously in the UK touring, it looks as if the global superstars have agreed to lay the long-running feud to rest once and for all.
However not everything is quite as it seems, as we reveal that celebrity lookalike photographer, Alison Jackson was invited to the city to capture a set of photos of Katy and Taylor look-alikes.
