A couple were arrested in Miami last weekend for pretending to be Adele’s managers.

Justin Jackson and his wife Angel Lii posed as Adele’s manager Jonathan Dickins to try and get free tickets to see Kendrick Lamar at the city’s Rolling Loud festival.

It’s not the first time the couple have tried it, as Miami Herald reports in the past they have attempted to get free tickets to Rihanna, Drake, Katy Perry and Chris Brown using Dickins’ name.

After record labels got in touch with Dickins he reported the pair to the authorities who launched an investigation last year. When the couple tried to get tickets to see Kendrick, Dickins contacted the police again. Meaning when Jackon and Lii attempted to pick up the tickets at the festival the police immediately arrested them. They are now facing grand theft and identity theft charges.

Jackson and his wife have previously been prosecuted for impersonating a number of celebrities. In 2007, Jackson was sentenced to 2 years in prison for pretending to be Madonna’s manager and persuading a New York boutique to lend him a $2.4million worth of jewellery, which he later sold.
