Company shocks customers with ‘offensive’ Kim Kardashian robbery Halloween costume
The outfit has caused outrage amongst fans
An American based company have left people outraged after advertising a Kim Kardashian style robbery costume on their website in time for Halloween.
Shocking events took place in Paris last week when Kim was robbed of millions of pounds of jewellery at gunpoint in her apartment and according to reports was tied up in the bathroom.
Now, California based company Costumeish have advertised an outfit as ‘Parisian Heist Robbery Victim Costume Kit’ and it comes complete with a white bath robe, yellow hand ties, a mouth gag and a fake ‘$4 million dollar ring’. The outfit is advertised online for £69.99.
The website has been careful not to reference Kim by name it’s a description, writing, ‘This Halloween it's all about the #Hallomeme and who better than America's goddess of all things glamorous "Parisian Heist Robbery Victim Costume?" She has devoted her life to promoting American decadence, youth, and hedonism but all that flashy living caught up with her one night in Paris when armed men bound her, stole her jewellery and her peace of mind. This Halloween have some fun with pop culture and dress just like the Queen of Social media with our sensational "Parisian Heist Robbery Victim Costume" Costume.’
After discovering the outfit online, appalled fans have expressed their shock at the costume on Twitter.
Another outraged fan wrote “You should be ashamed of yourselves you sick f****. Hope you get robbed at gunpoint so you psychopaths know how it feels. Pathetic."
With another adding “This costume is not only tasteless but completely disrespectful of a very serious situation that not only Kim Kardashian has experienced but countless other women and men.”
Kim was left shaken but unharmed when robbers dressed as police broke into her apartment in France during Paris Fashion Week. The mum-of-two was accused of ‘flaunting’ her wealth on social media after the incident took place and has since stayed quiet on her accounts.
Despite complaints about the shocking Halloween costume, the company are yet to comment.
