Last night we saw Max Evans, Jake Quickenden and Brooke Vincent battle it out to win Dancing On Ice. Whilst Jack Quickenden won the competition, here at Key 103 we caught up with second place finalist, and 'Queen of the people's ice rink', Coronation Street's Brooke Vincent.

Speaking to Gemma, Matt and Mike on the Key 103 Breakfast Show, Brooke told us the whole programme had been "such a good experience". She went on to say how she had enjoyed every minute of it, explaining "last night I just made sure I enjoyed my skating."

Brooke, who has continued to work on Coronation Street whilst taking part on Dancing On Ice, explained how she has to be "constantly on her game".

Listen to what Brooke had to say to Gemma, Matt and Mike below:

After the final, Brooke took to Twitter to thank the show saying, 'So @dancingonice 2018 you have been a pleasure, now get me back to them cobbles ⭐️ @itvcorrie ⛸⭐️'.

Last night Brooke took to the ice second, after Jake, skating to Christina Aguilera’s ‘Genie In A Bottle’. Joint head judge Jayne Torvill told Brooke she was “proud” of her for “always wanting to give it a go” with the other head judge Christopher Dean then adding “that’s the best I’ve seen you perform”.

The next skate gave the celebrities the chance to perform their favourite routine of the series, with Brooke performing the routine that changed everything. Jason described the routine as electrifying when he first performed in week seven, but they’d topped it with Ashley calling it a “landmark moment” for Brooke.

Dancing On Ice returned to our TV screens this year after a four year break.

Last month it was revealed that Dancing On Ice will be returning again in 2019, after ITV renewed the show's contract.

In response to the exciting announcement ITV said, “The show's welcome back has exceeded our expectations and it's been fantastic to see the audience at home loving it. The recommission is a no brainer and it's brilliant for everyone involved to know it'll be back next year.”

We can't wait for next year's series!
