Ant McPartlin's wife Lisa Armstrong 'breaks silence' over divorce

Earlier this week the sad news was announced that Ant McPartlin and his wife Lisa Armstrong would be divorcing after 11 years of marriage.
Since the shock news of their separation was announced, hundreds of fans have been tweeting their support for the couple who have known each other for a total of 23 years.
Although Ant released a statement earlier this week, Lisa has yet to comment, however now she has broken her silence by liking a number of supportive tweets from fans.
Lisa hasn't tweeted since the beginning of the year when she posted a photo of herself with a leaking rubbish bag from 2017.
However, despite not posting anything new on Twitter it seems she has been liking certain tweets to express some of her feelings.
One tweet that Lisa liked said, 'Going through difficult times we must always be reminded that better times are ahead.'
Another user's tweet liked by Lisa said, 'Well I think @lisaAmakeup has stayed classy to the end. She hasn't deserved any of this.i really feel for her.' sic
And a further tweet liked by the make-up artist read, 'I wanted to send you enormous amounts of love and luck for the future. You have remained so dignified in the face of the media - You are a true inspiration.'
Earlier this week a statement was released on behalf of the presenter to the press which read, "In response to the recent speculation in the media, Ant is very sad to announce that, after 11 years, he is ending his marriage to Lisa McPartlin.
“Ant asks for privacy at this difficult time, for both himself, Lisa and their immediate families.
"No further statement will be made.”
It is believed the couple held crisis talks in a bid to save their marriage, however unfortunately they did not help and Lisa spent the Christmas and New Year period with her mother, away from her husband.
Most recently Lisa has been working as a make-up artist on Strictly Come Dancing, while Ant returned to his presenting role alongside Declan Donnelly on the latest series of I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
