Just days after teasing a 30-second clip of new music during The X Factor, Adele has announced details of her fervently awaited third studio album!

The global superstar broke the news of the record – titled ‘25’ – via an emotionally charged .

In the soul searching letter, posted this afternoon, Adele talks about regrets and tells her 61million fans: “I haven't got time to hold on to the crumbs of my past like I used to.”

She added: "My last record (21) was a break-up record and if I had to label this one, I would call it a make-up record.

"Making up for lost time. Making up for everything I ever did and never did."

"25 is about getting to know who I've become without realising. And I'm sorry it took so long but, you know, life happened."

The album is expected to be released in late November and is the follow-up to 2011’s ‘21’ and 2008’s ‘19’.

‘21’ of course became the best-selling UK album of the millennium shifting 4.6million copies here and an incredible 11million stateside.

The A-List producers on board for the new album include Gnarls Barkley's Brian Burton (aka Danger Mouse), Swedish hitmaking maestro Max Martin and One Republic star Ryan Tedder.
